Pictures—Lots of them.

my pictures consist of travel, family, my quilts, customer quilts and Charlie, my Havanese.  I will be posting them and I hope I can put them in some type of grouping.  We will see.  The following are my personal quilts.

What Happened?

1.  I changed the blog name and address to the above.  I will always be striving to be a better Quilt maker and longarm quilter as long as I can go.
2.  I pulled out one of my personal quilts to start on yesterday and quilted the top row before the storms rolled in. This was a kit from a local Quilt shop that 😩 is no longer in business.  Pictures will follow soon.  Square in a square blocks are featured around the large centered applicque Southern Belle and none of them meet on point.  Not a single one! I could not believe it!  It was made several years ago but I was not a new piece so no excuses.   I am not taking the thing apart so it is what it is.

I finished this quilt earlier this year.  It was designed by Meg Hawkey of Crabapple Hill Studios and features crayon tinting.

My good life

The past year has flown by.  A trip we had been looking forward to was canceled due to an emergency trip and stay in the hospital.  We hope to reschedule this trip some day.  I am now the proud owner of the Freedom(known as Freddie) APQS quilting machine with bliss track system and Quilt Path computer.  I have had no problems adjusting to the new machine.  It is a wonderful quilting machine.  The quilt path will take some time to learn the software and be able to easily use it to quilt customer's quilts. I could not be happier.  My old quilting machine is waiting for the right buyer in my garage.

When I figure how to post pictures again I will. My picture at the top of the blog is old and also needs changing.  It is a beautiful day out there here in Alabama where you can always count on the weather changing.. I have to get back to work on MU's quilt.  Have a blessed day.
